SkyShowtime has already announced the premiere date for the second season of “Los Enviados,” the series directed by Juan José Campanella and starring Miguel Ángel Silvestre. The show will debut on the platform on Friday, January 26, with four episodes, and on March 15, the remaining episodes that make up the second season will be released.
The series, led by Campanella, the Argentine director who won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2010 for “The Secret in Their Eyes,” returns to the screens with 8 episodes that follow the journey of two priests sent by the Vatican to investigate a series of miracles within the Catholic Church.
This time, “Pedro Salinas” (Luis Gerardo Méndez) and “Simón Antequera” (Miguel Ángel Silvestre) will travel to a convent located in Galicia, where three blind nuns have testified to a miracle that must now be verified.
“Los Enviados” is one of Paramount+’s most successful offerings, as its combination of religion, comedy, and mystery has gained many followers.
Once again, the creative agency BANIJAY IMA, under the direction of Agus Cantero, entrusted us with the soundtrack for the international campaign of the series, along with the challenge of using music and sound design to not only create a thriller atmosphere that conveys the universe of mystery and terror accompanying the narrative of this second season but also to immerse viewers in the Galician rural setting where this mysterious new season of the series unfolds.
